This film tells the story of "life" and the times of the main character, an Android that was bought as a home robot and programmed to perform servant tasks. Within a few days, the Martin family realizes that they don't have an ordinary droid because Andrew begins to experience emotions and creative thoughts. In a story spanning two centuries, Andrew learns the intricacies of humanity and tries to stop those who created it from destroying it.
I would like to recommend to everyone the director's version, extended by more than twenty minutes, of additional scenes, which gives a fuller picture of the film and in an interesting way explains some issues completely omitted in the cinema release. Bicentennial Man is a specific movie, not everyone likes it, but it's impressive. I recommend to watch it online before you buy it.
