On their son Odell's 13the birthday, graphic artist Tom Warszaw finally confesses to his wife why he fled Greenwich Village, NYC at that age to Paris. As a schoolboy, naturally sensitive, considerate Tommy was best buddy with 'adult' half-wit Pappass, father Duncan's Catholic school's assistant janitor. Smothered by his dependent mother, a dumb orderly, Tommy got 'parental advice' from a women's prison inmate. Together with pappas, he saves up tips from their butchery delivery rounds. One night, pappas steals the bike they were saving for. Tommy tries to take the blame, but ends up exposed as if the instigator. Even more tragic consequences follow.... Show more

Movies made by David Duchovny are always worth to watch, it's not different this time. If a film can manage to keep me hooked for the whole time, that's impressive. The new cinematography style invented by David Duchovny is exactly what it is supposed to be - a new path that can be followed by the creators of original entertainment films. There are some stages in this movie that I will remember until death. The storyline is really good, the pacing is great, and the actors gave great performances. It owes its phenomenon to continuous action and increasing tension, which drops only after the screening. I choosed to upload this wonderful film, here on this website.... Show more
